I didn’t know D-O-U-C-H-E was spelled T-E-A
So all these “Tea Baggers” (they called themselves that first, and I am certainly not one to disagree) have pissed me off so much I can hardly speak. For that at least, I’m sure Jay is grateful. I’d link to some of their incredible, corporate sponsored idiocy, but my blood pressure can’t take any more of their ignorant shit today.
I’d just like to say:
Technically, the only people entitled to “tea-bag” are folks like my lovely Canadian husband. He supports my lazy American ass, pays my medical bills, and contributes a ridiculous amount of tax dollars to the government…and yet HE doesn’t get to vote on how those dollars are spent, or elect people he trusts to spend them. My husband is truly taxed without representation, and is completely and unfairly disenfranchised.
The teabaggers aren’t disenfranchised. They’re just fuckers who lost (the election, their minds) and can’t fucking deal with it.
Considering the only thing teabaggers hate more than their Bush era mandated taxes are filthy immigrants, I can’t begin to imagine how conflicted they must feel about my white immigrant husband stealing “our” jobs so he can support this “chocolate-face” American. But I can certainly imagine where I’ll shove their stupid, bought-n-paid-for-sales-tax-and-all tea bags if I ever get the chance.

Yes, yes we know you LOVE Obama.
If you are so pissed this country won’t let your husband vote, move to another country, then get back to me how bad you had it here..
Oh and we know that ALL (of us) republicans are evil, thanks for that update..
Yep, I like Obama, and no, I don’t think all Republicans are evil. Don’t think I’ve ever said anything remotely like that on this entire site. Probably because up until a couple of years ago I still considered myself one. I still DON’T consider myself a Democrat.
But I do have a problem with a party that’s supposed to be about individual freedom and responsibilty selling out to religious extremists instead of protecting personal liberties (and our damn money). And I don’t think that’s the entire party, but they’ve certainly let that become the driving force of the organization.
I don’t even consider the Teabaggers evil. But they ARE shit-ignorant tools who are being used and don’t even know what they’re protesting.
Also, the “go back to ____ if you don’t like it here” is the kind of reply you only get from someone who thinks blind obedience is patriotic, and striving to make your country better BECAUSE you love it is somehow “Unamerican.”
Fuck you. You’re no longer allowed to read my site.
I never said anything about blind obedience.
Have you ever been out of the country and seen the squalor that people live in every day? This is the greatest country on earth, so much opportunity, but it comes at a cost sometimes. I’m happy to compromise some personal liberties if say at the airport I know I’m safe. There’s rules that we as a society have to follow to maintain civilization. I’m happy to toe the line if I know that my lifestyle goes moslty unaffected. I have no plans to do anything illegal, so I guess I’m just complacent where I am and darn happy about it.
Sounds like someone has some pent up anger about something, feel free to lie on my couch and talk to me about your childhood.
:)
I actually agree with you. I DO think this is the greatest country on earth, and that the benefits and opportunities we have DO come at a cost.
Which is why I’ve changed my mind about the last part of my initial response:
If the Teabaggers are so pissed about how the country is being run, THEY SHOULD MOVE TO ANOTHER COUNTRY, and then get back to me about how bad they had it here.
Sound good?
But the right they have to protest is one of those things we both agree make this one of , no IS the greatest country to live in.
Kinda like that whole flag burning issue, but I won’t go there…
Can I keep reading your site now that we found some common ground?
:)
You can continue reading my site if you agree that our heroic troops in all their glory are not only fighting and dying for the teabaggers’ right to free speech and protest, but also for my right to call the teabaggers fucking idiots who have no idea what they’re protesting. And your right to disagree with me RIGHT UP UNTIL…
The point where I have to move to a different country (as you suggested after my first post) but THEY get to stay here as a glowing example of our hard-won rights to freedom.
Until you convinced me to, I never once said they should get out of the country. I just said they’re fucking weak-minded, easily manipulated retards.
Anyway, I don’t really see why you’d even WANT to keep reading my site. But perhaps I can interest you in my next business venture: “Karla Rubs Lemon Juice Into Your Paper Cuts.”
It makes just a hair more sense than arguing on the internet.
